Is it illegal to not clean up after your dog in MA

Is it illegal to not clean up after your dog in MA?
I know in a lot of states, it's illegal, but not sure about MA. I live in a condo complex, and there are a lot of trees and grass that surround us. It seems that some people here might think that since it's "our" yard, they don't necessarily need to clean up after their dog during walks. Is that allowed, and if not, can I complain to management about it?

ILLEGAL or not...you should ALWAYS clean up after your DOG.Why leave it for others to PICK up.

Yes it's illegal, and most condo have rules about it too. Just like littering, it's unlawful NOT to pick up after your dog, and your violation is subject to fine. It's probably not our city but I figured the law was for all of MA.

I know with our apartment complex their are rules about cleaning up after your dog and your dog may be evicted if there are too many complaints. I would inquire with your manager of the complex about specific rules.
