Air Force Reserve/Guard- Too old for OTS

Air Force Reserve/Guard- Too old for OTS?
I am looking into the possibility of joining the Air Guard or Air Force reserve (I am non prior service). I just turned 34 and have a BA(management) and MA(criminal justice). The USAF requires a person be commissioned by age 35. I realize the process to gain entrance to OTS, attend the school and commission could take a year or more. (1) What is the chance I could receive an age waiver for OTS if I do not move through the process in time to graduate before I am 35? (2) I see some fields, such as Medical Service Corps, have a higher age limit. Do I qualify for entrance under AFSC 41AX (Health Services Administrator)? (3) Is there a separate recruiting command/process for Medical Service Corps officer candidates?

1) talk to a recruiter 2) talk to a recruiter 3) talk to a recruiter Anyone on here is just guessing and the clock on your age is ticking.

Actually the AF requires you to be under 30 to be commissioned. They will waiver it up to age 35, for those with prior enlisted service. Your best bet, would be the Air National Guard The States will waiver age limits, more than the Reserves will.

BETTER YOU HAVE TO GO FOR SOFTWARE...After two or three years you will automatically upgrade to management .. First you have to know what to manage before how to manage..

Use the Occupational Outlook Handbook, which is a government publication (US) and has all of this stuff and more. It should come up on the top of a google search using the book title.

This is a call from citi bank for their associate programme so you may be asked mostly corporate level questions more particularly in maintaining consumer relationship and credit worthiness. How ever if you know any bank employee he may perhaps guide you in detail. All the best and be confident in replies to Board for final winning stroke.

I work full time. I would like to find a college close to home where I can go part time and get a degree in hospitality management. I live in Waltham, MA. The only college I can find is Bunker Hill.

I strngly suggest you gain practical experience, as opposed to a college degree. That is what employers want

Look at http://www.acpha-cahm.org/members.cfm It lists of the schools that are accredited by Accreditation Commision for Programs in Hospitality Administration (for four-year programs) or the Commssion on Accreditation of Hospitality Management Programs (for two-year programs). Also, the College Board website can help you decide how to choose which program is best for you. http://www.collegeboard.com/csearch/majors_careers/profiles/majors/52.0901.html

All the colleges and universities in your area should either have a hospitality or hotel management degree... Good luck...
