Ok, law school is out of the question. There is less demand than 20 years ago. I was thinking Journalism or getting an MA in Campaign Management I may want to stay an extra year or 2 and get my BS in Adolescent Education with a Certification in Social Studies. What is a good steady career? I did want to go to law school, but then I saw a lower demand article on Yahoo today.

If law school is out of the question you will have to either become a writer of some kind or work for government if you want to use that degree. If you don't want to use the degree you can work in customer service, sales etc.

If you want to go to law school, then go. Don't have regrets about it some day. If you graduate in the top of your class you will be the first choice for many good jobs. Plus, lawyers can always practice on their own.

Whether or not there is lower demand, trust me, you can get a good job if you get your J.D. .. even if you don't want to actually be a practicing lawyer.. but if you don't wanna do that, any of the other options you mentioned would be decent too... just gotta figure out what you wanna do... getting a BS in teaching is the most stable type of job you can train for... the pay isn't so great though.. campaign management.. if you're good at it, it's fairly stable, but would be an intensely competitive field.. I dunno, you have lots of options with a P.S. bachelor's.. it's a liberal arts degree, but yeah, without anything else you usually have to work in politics or just find a job that requires a bachelor's in general

Stop right there! Go to law school! An attorney friend of mine explained it this way: Even if you become a drunk and are sleeping on a park bench, someone will come and get you, clean you up, feed you a hot meal and take you to Men's Warehouse for a suit without vomit stains on it in exchange for services. Or you could always hold up a cardboard sign at an intersection that reads, Will Give Legal Advice For Food, and be sure to include your Bar Number on the sign. You can do more good and make as much money farting around in your house shoes as a lawyer than any of the other things you mentioned.
